Description
Duties Include:
1. Managing a small team of accountants
2. Assigning accounting tasks to the team
3. Providing support and training to the team
4. Providing support and advice to clients
5. Using accounting software
6. Setting monthly targets, based upon work in and deadlines due
7. Resolving client queries where possible
8. Production of Company, Sole Trader and Partnership Accounts
9. Completion of Self-Assessment Tax Returns and Corporation Tax Returns
10. Completion and submission of Quarterly VAT Returns
Profile
ACCA, ACA or equivalent qualifications:
1. Previous experience working within an accountancy practice at management level
2. Good communicator and able to work as part of a team
3. Able to work on own initiative
4. Confident in all areas of accountancy and taxation
5. Able to work to tight deadlines
6. Knowledge of accountancy software
7. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
8. Knowledge of Sage/Xero
