We are thrilled to announce a new opening for a Business Development Manager - Transformation Specialist, a role central to identifying and managing transformation opportunities that empower our customers to succeed.
What will you be doing?
This role involves leading the way in digital transformation for our customers. You’ll focus on generating opportunities in infrastructure, EUC (End User Computing), cloud, and hybrid transformation while promoting the value of complementary technologies across Phoenix’s sales operations.
Here’s a breakdown of your key responsibilities:
Sales & Solutions:
* Work with customers and prospects to identify opportunities across hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
* Promote transformation solutions using technologies like VMware, Dell Technologies, and Microsoft.
* Create and deliver compelling proposals, helping customers realise the value of our managed services.
Expertise & Advocacy:
* Keep up-to-date with trends in compute, storage, cloud, and virtualisation technologies.
* Champion focus technologies and collaborate with sales teams to increase opportunity awareness.
Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and sales teams.
* Leverage vendor relationships and procurement programmes to maximise customer value and company margins.
Continuous Improvement:
* Maintain relevant accreditations and ensure Phoenix offerings remain at the forefront of the market.
* Provide training and share knowledge at events to enhance awareness and credibility.

What are we looking for?
The right person for this role will have experience in a similar position with a minimum of 5 years in IT solutions sales, ideally with exposure to hybrid transformation and ecosystem technologies. You will have a proven track record of developing and closing complex IT sales opportunities.

Where is the role based?
Primary location is our HQ in Pocklington (YO42) but there are remote opportunities for the right person.
