The Role of a Care Professional
Care Professionals support clients in the community to live and remain in their own home. Due to the nature of the role in the community you must be willing to travel around Wakefield and commit to working a combination of the following shift times 7am to 2.30pm and 3.45pm – 9.45pm including alternative weekends and bank holidays.
Part-time hours are approximately between 15 and 20 hours per week on average.
You will support clients with:
* Personal care tasks
* Medication
* Meal preparation
* Light housekeeping
* Shopping
* General companionship and wellbeing
* Taking clients to medical appointments
Qualifications
Requirements:
· Ability to work as part of a team or independently
Access to your own transport with Class 1 Business insurance is essential.
