Aim of the Spa Assistant Manager role:
* Take ownership for covering all reception shifts with a rota system.
* Ensure each new reception staff member goes through an induction and training programme.
* Monitor staff development and follow the Company appraisal system in conjunction with the Spa Manager.
* Manage the Reception team, ensuring all treatments and fitness bookings are taken efficiently and accurately, and that all other administrative reception procedures are followed correctly.
* Generate sales leads through outreach activities and corporate events.
* Take prospective new members on show-rounds within the Spa and Hotel Facilities.
* Contribute to the membership budget.
* Ensure membership packs are completed in a timely manner.
* Arrange and develop all Spa Events and provide appropriate costings within the department budgets.
* Complete monthly retention calls.
* Complete a weekly forecast spreadsheet.
Spa Assistant Manager - About you:
* Must have previous Spa Supervisory or Management experience.
* Treatment background, including NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification, is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills and customer service required.
* Keen eye for detail, organisational skills, and confidence in communicating with the team.
