Education and Training
£20 - £30 Per hour
* Plan and deliver high-quality ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) lessons to Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC)
* Assess students' language skills and create tailored learning plans
* Provide individual and group tutoring sessions to support language development
* Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with other tutors and staff to ensure a supportive learning environment
* CELTA or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience working with UASC or vulnerable young people
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
Bachelor's degree in Education, English Language, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching ESOL to young learners
* Knowledge of ESOL teaching methodologies and best practises
* Understanding of the challenges faced by UASC in learning English
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
* MA in TESOL or Applied Linguistics
* Experience working with refugees and asylum seekers
* Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
* Work in a multicultural and diverse educational setting
* Potential travel to different locations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
