We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Techno Functional Consultant to join our team for the migration of M365 Ancillary Services. The consultant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth migration and integration of various M365 applications and services, including but not limited to: Applications Sending Email, To Do, Whiteboard, Sway, Bookings, Lists, Loop, Stream, Clipchamp, Forms, and Viva Engage. This is a dynamic role that requires both technical expertise and a deep understanding of business processes to help streamline and optimize M365 functionality for organizational use.
Key Responsibilities:
M365 Ancillary Services Migration:
Lead the migration of M365 Ancillary Services (Applications Sending Email, To Do, Whiteboard, Sway, Bookings, Lists, Loop, Stream, Clipchamp, Forms, Viva Engage) from existing platforms to Microsoft 365.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition of data, settings, and configurations across the various services.
Develop migration strategies, timelines, and risk mitigation plans specific to each service.
Techno-Functional Expertise:
Provide technical guidance and functional expertise to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of M365 services within the organization.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions, working with stakeholders to align M365 features with business needs.
Assist with system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting of M365 Ancillary Services.
Application Integration & Optimization:
Work on the integration of various M365 applications into existing business processes and systems.
Optimize application configurations to improve productivity, collaboration, and communication within the organization.
Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting, resolving issues, and maintaining M365 services.
Training & Knowledge Transfer:
Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users to ensure they fully understand and can effectively use M365 services.
Facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams, ensuring a sustainable and long-term usage of M365 tools.
Develop training materials, user guides, and FAQs specific to the migrated services.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and service providers to ensure successful project delivery.
Gather and document business requirements, use cases, and user stories from stakeholders to tailor M365 services to organizational needs.
Provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and risks to management and stakeholders.
Data Security & Compliance:
Ensure that the migration of M365 services adheres to organizational data security and compliance policies.
Work with security and compliance teams to review and implement appropriate controls for the handling of data within the M365 ecosystem.
Ongoing Support and Optimization:
Provide post-migration support to resolve any issues and ensure the smooth functioning of the M365 services.
Continuously assess the usage and performance of M365 applications and recommend improvements or optimizations.
Stay up-to-date with new features and updates to M365 Ancillary Services, assessing their potential impact and benefit to the organization.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in a Techno-Functional Consultant role with a focus on M365 or similar enterprise software platforms.
Proven experience with migration projects, particularly in M365 environments.
Solid understanding of the M365 ecosystem, including services like Applications Sending Email, To Do, Whiteboard, Sway, Bookings, Lists, Loop, Stream, Clipchamp, Forms, and Viva Engage.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, configuration, and customization.
Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
Strong knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services.
Understanding of system integration methods and best practices.
Functional Skills:
Strong business process analysis skills.
Ability to work closely with business teams to understand requirements and design effective solutions.
