Job Overview
We are looking to appoint a passionate, inspirational Associate Assistant Headteacher of Science to take the department to the next level and be a part of the extended senior leadership team. The successful candidate will lead a thriving, high-performing and well-resourced department. You will be part of a highly committed team of professionals who are passionate about raising standards and who are determined to further develop the teaching of Science and learning outcomes for all students.
Alder Community High School is an oversubscribed, 11-16, mixed comprehensive school and is situated in Gee Cross, Hyde within Tameside to the east of Manchester and is close to the borders with Stockport and the Peak District. We can offer excellent facilities, a friendly and supportive environment and opportunities for professional development.
We work collaboratively with a variety of schools within the Greater Manchester area and have active subject networks working together to drive up standards across Tameside.
