Job Overview:
The Data Centre Operations Service Planner will provide support in planning and coordinating all maintenance requests and workflows, as well as provide general administrative assistance to the Data Centre Operations Department. This includes utilizing the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) Software System and acting as a System Administrator for the CAFM software.
Key Tasks:
* Create high-level plans and maintenance schedules for activities across the data centre campus.
* Monitor and track department projects, report on progress, and highlight risks and possible delays, keeping the Planning Manager informed about milestones.
* Support in the preparation of customer audits, providing evidence on maintenance activities and completed works.
* Update daily FM shift attendance register, highlighting gaps in attendance.
* Audit the CAFM system to ensure data integrity is maintained.
* Track and oversee the FM provider’s delivery of PPMs and Reactive works.
* Review assets created on CAFM to ensure correct setup of contractual planned works.
* Ensure newly handed over assets are correctly set up on the CAFM system.
* Assist in keeping the PPM Change Control tracker up to date.
* Ensure third-party service reports are received against each scheduled maintenance task.
* Create regular weekly maintenance audit schedules with DC Ops team and FM provider.
* Liaise with DC Ops team to review completed works for monthly FM billing approval.
* Support the wider DC Ops team in processing orders.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience in project planning/scheduling and reporting.
* Experience in the data centre sector or telecommunications.
* 2-4 years of experience in a Facilities Maintenance coordination role.
* Knowledge and/or experience working in an ITIL environment.
* Preferably experience in Asset Management.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of company personnel and clients.
* Ability to work confidentially and show sensitivity.
* Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail and prioritization skills.
* Good organizational skills.
* Excellent planning skills.
* Pro-active and problem-solving skills.
