Full time position of 37.5 hours per week - to be worked flexibly including weekends, bank holidays, evenings/nights Salary £23,054.49 per annum Permanent contract Main duties of the job About the role: You will deliver high quality Specialist Palliative and End of Life care as part of the Inpatient Unit multidisciplinary team, under the direction of the designated nursing team. You will support the assessment, planning and evaluation of individualised patient centered care, ensuring a holistic approach that is sensitive and responsive to the patients' ever-changing needs, maintaining the patients comfort, dignity and privacy at all times. You will ensure all aspects of the care provided are provided in accordance with Mountbatten's Values and Care Standards. About you: You will be qualified to Level 2 Health and Social Care Certificate and have previous care experience. The role will be part of a dedicated team of professionals, who will also be able to work under their own initiative to ensure the highest standard of care. A can-do attitude with strong communication skills will be required. You will be required to deliver a high standard of direct patient care, assisting the patient in all activities of daily living, with both direct and indirect supervision as delegated by the qualified nurse.
