Our Relief Support Workers supplement our full-time staff, maintaining the high quality of service provided by our regular team. Our work focuses on promoting choice and independence, supporting people in Calderdale to achieve their personal outcomes. As a Relief Support Worker, you will support service users in accessing social and leisure activities, and provide respectful personal care and support with cooking, cleaning, housework, and other life skills. You will demonstrate a commitment to promoting independence for people with learning disabilities by delivering personalized support and carrying out general administrative duties and housing management tasks. A minimum of twelve months' experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is essential. While a relevant professional qualification is desirable, it is crucial that you are warm and able to work in a person-centred manner.
