Our client is an award-winning travel agency based in Lincolnshire. They are looking for a Branch Manager to lead a small team in a retail branch. This role can be 4 or 5 days per week in the branch with a salary of up to £30,000 dependent on experience plus quarterly bonus and benefits.
Branch Manager Responsibilities:
1. Actively participate in sales whilst also managing, coaching and developing the team.
2. Identify staff training and development needs on an individual basis.
3. Managerial duties such as managing rota and annual leave.
4. Specialist knowledge in at least one of the following: cruising, USA/Canada, Australia/New Zealand, Caribbean, Skiing, air travel, safari, luxury long haul or short haul.
5. Identify marketing and networking opportunities.
6. Roll out new processes and procedures.
7. Ensure banking is completed daily and control branch costs.
8. Health and safety procedures and ensure the branch is tidy with brochures fully stocked.
Branch Manager Skills Required:
1. Travel industry experience ideally in retail travel.
2. Previous management experience advantageous.
3. Strong worldwide geographical knowledge.
4. Ability to use a GDS, preferably Amadeus.
5. Excellent selling and communication skills.
6. Extensive first-hand travel experience.

1. 4 or 5 days per week across Monday-Saturday (approx 2 Saturdays per month with a day off in the week).
