What you’ll be doing:
\n
\n
* Provide technical direction to engineers
\n
* Supporting the development of individuals and teams to enhance skills and competencies, such that technical capability objectives are fully achieved
\n
* Undertake assessments of functional design and/or provide qualification and evidence for acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements, and safety
\n
* Support the Delivery of safety Cases
\n
\n
Your skills and experiences:
\n
\n
* CEng or equivalent level of capability, Degree in Human Factors or Psychology
\n
* Previous experience of writing assessments and safety reports
\n
* Previous experience of influencing and managing Stakeholders at different levels
\n
\n

The Human Factors team:
\n
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Human Factors team-Safety here at BAE Systems. You will be joining a wider team of 17 professionally minded individuals who strive for best practice and champion an outstanding internal culture. You’ll have the responsibility of managing 2-3 direct reports at varied levels. The team operate across different areas of safety within the Human Factors remit, which enables variety on the day-to-day business.
