Positions are available within the following surgery departments:
* Anaesthetic
* Recovery
* General

* Gynae

* Emergency surgery

Qualifications
* RN ODP
* Completion of Preceptorship
* Degree level education or willing to work towards
Experience
* 24 months post-registration experience in theatre
* Recent acute clinical experience in an acute Trust
* Evidence of facilitating learning in practice
* Previous theatre experience within general & gynae speciality
* Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development
Skills
* Basic IT Skills
* Time management and personal organisation skills
* Calm under pressure
Other
* Aware of the Trust's Vision/Mission and Values
* Current understanding of key issues facing the NHS
The ability to converse easily and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for all customer-facing roles.
Most positions require a Disclosure and Barring check and will be exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Posts working regularly or unsupervised with children or vulnerable adults require an enhanced check.
