About the Company: We are recruiting for a Commercial Manager on behalf of a global leader in civil engineering and infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on roads and highways projects. They deliver sustainable infrastructure and transport projects across the UK and internationally. The Role: This assignment for a Commercial Manager is a fantastic opportunity to join a major town regeneration project as it nears completion, managing key commercial aspects and ensuring compliance with NEC4 contracts. Youll be instrumental in supporting change control, resolving disputes, and liaising closely with clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Manager Manage all commercial aspects of large-scale civils/infrastructure projects. Administer and ensure compliance with NEC4 contracts. Lead and support on change management, early warnings, and compensation events. Engage with clients, local councils, to manage issues and support conflict resolution. Provide commercial support and forecasting to ensure project profitability. Manage small teams of change managers Produce and maintain accurate cost and value reports. Support and mentor junior commercial staff, if required. Key Requirements: Commercial Manager Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, Commercial Lead, Head of Commercial or senior commercial role in roads, highways, or civil infrastructure projects. Experience in dealing with local councils/authoritys Strong understanding of NEC4 contracts is essential. Demonstrable experience in change management and resolving client issues. Ability to handle commercial negotiations and contractual risk. Ideally experienced in leading or managing a small team. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Available for an immediate or short-notice start.
