The Faster Diagnostics Framework aims to deliver an earlier and faster diagnosis for patients referred with suspected cancer.
The Head & Neck Service is looking for a nurse to work as a navigator within the Faster Diagnostics Service (FDS).
This is an exciting opportunity to establish a new role within the diagnostic team.

Main duties of the job
You will be the named point of contact for people referred with suspected Head & Neck cancer. After triage and assessment, you will help guide patients through the diagnostic pathway offering support and advice. You will have a key role liaising with healthcare professionals across primary and secondary care. You will work independently but also within a supportive nursing team and with links to other FDS nurses within the Trust.
