Salary Range £36,000 - £44,000 with starting salary £38,000

Role purpose:
Work closely with operational managers and teams to develop, monitor and improve quality standards to ensure CITB Apprenticeships meet the needs of customers and expectations of government inspection agencies and funding contract requirements.
Coach and develop staff to increase their effectiveness.
Facilitate workshops and events to meet operational needs.
Provide an effective source for advice and guidance for staff
Support external assessment and inspection planning activities and preparation
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Support, facilitate and monitor quality improvement across activities within Apprenticeships
Coach and develop staff to increase their effectiveness (ADM & AO)
Sample operational activity through observation and evaluation to ensure quality assurance activity leads to improvement
Analyse and evaluate management information to inform improvement and quality monitoring reports
Ensure contract compliance and assurance
Design and develop staff guidance resources to support day to day operational activities and to ensure best practice in performance
Support and facilitate self-assessment across the provision
Effectively use self-assessment and evaluation to inform regional quality improvement plans
Knowledge and Experience:
Essential
Teacher/training qualification i.e. Cert Ed, PTTLS
Work based learning – apprenticeships, adult
Government inspection frameworks and funding contracts
Experienced in presentation skills and delivering training and briefing sessions
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Be self-motivated and a positive attitude to work
Ability to Influence, challenge and to manage conflict and difficult situations
Have analytical, interpretive, evaluative thought
Good report writing skills
Desirable
CEIAG L4
Coaching and mentoring i.e. ILM award
Health & Safety Qualification i.e. NEBOSH
Special Conditions/Other Requirements:
Full UK driving licence
Extensive travel
Willing & able to work non-standard hours as and when necessary
