We are looking for an enthusiastic Telemarketer to generate sales for our telecoms company via outbound cold calling. You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to book an appointment for our field sales team. The successful telemarketer must be friendly and persuasive. You must be able to understand the customer’s requirements and offer solutions that meet their needs. The ideal candidate should be patient and have a calm, upbeat demeanor to deal with any pushbacks.
Responsibilities:
1. Cold call companies.
2. Work from a script to provide information about product features, prices, etc., and present their benefits.
3. Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how merchandise or services meet their needs.
4. Record the customer’s personal information accurately in a computer system.
5. Be target-driven.
6. Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information.
Requirements and Skills:
1. Proven experience as telemarketer or in a sales role.
2. Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas, preferably over the phone.
3. Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Patient and able to handle customer rejection.
6. Proficient in English.
7. Persistent and results-oriented.
8. Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints.

Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 yearly
Benefits: Earn up to 60k per year with commission
