In this role you will work closely with our fast growing Retirement Solutions business, providing risk oversight of new business origination including (but not limited to) BPA and reinsurance. The role This is an exciting risk management opportunity in the Corporate Transactions Risk Team for an actuary to play a key role in delivering independent 2nd line risk review of material corporate transactions and strategic projects during the due diligence and pricing stages. The role involves engaging closely with the 1st line business development teams to provide independent challenge on the risks of a wide range of project proposals including: Bulk Purchase Annuity (“BPA”) transactions, Reinsurance structuring, Equity Release Mortgage origination, new product propositions, and M&A. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growth area of the business with high visibility. The role reports to the Head of Corporate Transactions Risk within the 2nd line Risk function.
