Account Manager - Cloud Software
Location: Bristol / Hybrid
The role of the Account Manager in the Cloud sales team is to revolutionise Cloud distribution whilst working closely with the world’s leading Cloud solution providers including Microsoft and more.
The Account Manager will report to the Sales Team Manager and play a pivotal role in managing our partner accounts. This role is ideal for someone with experience in managing a highly transaction account portfolio.
This is a highly rewarding role with a clear progression path to a field-based position.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
* Generate sales among existing partner accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
* Operate as the point of contact for assigned partner base.
* Develop and maintain long-term relationships with the account base and internal teams.
* Generate net new sales opportunities for channel partners by way of GTM strategies.
* Prepare quotes and proposals when required by the partner.
* Communicate partner needs and demands to the company.
* Be constantly developing intelligence on your partner's activity and market trends.
* Generate Sales Forecasts and track partner account metrics.
* Identify growth opportunities within the portfolio and execute growth plans.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure complete end-to-end management.
* Generate business through new partner acquisitions (outbound calls).
* Occasional visits to partner sites (if required by the business).
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
* Experience managing a large account portfolio.
* Demonstrable experience in Account Management or a similar role B2B.
* Tenacious, committed, and competitive.
* Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and listening.
* Ideal but not essential experience in IT Sales (Vendor, Distributor or Re-seller).
