This nursing home provides a range of care services, including nursing care, dementia care, residential care, respite care, end of life care, and convalescence care.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care.
2. Acting as the home's nurse expert, combining nursing skills with managerial and leadership responsibilities.
3. Focusing on residents with complex needs, conforming with the latest guidelines, making far-reaching decisions, and maintaining high levels of clinical governance while regularly auditing practices and procedures.
4. Care plan development and assessments.
5. Looking after all residents alongside the team and offering personalized centered care.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
2. The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs to provide excellent care services.
3. Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
4. The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
5. Good clinical skills.
6. Promoting ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home.
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP24.00 per hour, with an annual salary of GBP49,920 per annum.
