We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sunday Assistant at our Wallsend shop.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maximising sales by maintaining high standards of display and layout in the shop and shop windows.
* Ensuring that stock density is maintained and regular rotation of stock is carried out.
* Obtaining maximum realistic prices on donated items, in accordance with charity guidelines.
* Maximizing Gift Aid when dealing with customers and donors while providing excellent customer service.
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the shop, including the sales floor, stock processing area, offices, and communal areas.

What we are looking for:
* The ability to communicate with tact and discretion.
* Experience of cash handling and financial management procedures.
* The ability to make decisions within agreed parameters.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
With a strong retail background, you will join our committed team in making a significant contribution to achieving charity sales targets. You must be reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the charity.
In this role, you will have sole responsibility for the running of the store, which will involve lone working. Therefore, we are unable to recruit anyone for this role who is under the age of 18.
