The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) handles safeguarding concerns, assessing risk and sharing information when people report abuse or neglect. Your work will help to stop abuse and keep vulnerable people safe. You will be vital to the effectiveness of the MASH, handling telephone calls and emails in relation to Children’s Social Care and Adult Safeguarding, working alongside Social Care professionals. You will need to be adaptable, to work well under pressure both individually and as part of a team and to work to tight timescales. You will need excellent communication skills to ask questions sensitively of professionals and members of the public calling in. Experience of working in Social Care and or Customer Services is desirable, as well as strong ICT skills, ideally with experience of using Mosaic.
