Position overview:
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and skilled part-time teacher to join our team for term 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and supporting the educational development of our students. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our school community whilst maintaining a flexible work schedule.
Key responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver effective lessons in alignment with the New Zealand Curriculum
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Provide timely and constructive feedback to students
* Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and school staff
* Participate in school events and professional development activities
* Support the social and emotional development of students
Key requirements:
* A valid New Zealand teacher registration and certification
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt and work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment
* A passion for teaching and inspiring students to reach their full potential
* Availability for part-time hours during term 2 (Monday-Wednesday preferable but there is some flexibility with this)
