Service Sales Consultant (Instrumentation / Process Automation)

Role + Responsibilities for a Service Sales Consultant:
1. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers within the assigned region.
2. Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their operational challenges and identifying opportunities for our service offerings.
3. Promoting and selling Endress+Hauser's portfolio of services (e.g., calibration, maintenance, training, and technical support).
4. Achieving or exceeding sales targets for our service revenue in the designated territory.
5. Providing in-depth knowledge of Endress+Hauser services to address customer inquiries.
6. Collaborating with technical teams to design and propose customised solutions.
7. Identifying new opportunities within the customer base for service growth.
8. Staying informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer challenges.
9. Participating in regional events, workshops, and customer training sessions to promote Endress+Hauser's capabilities.
10. Monitoring and following up on service contracts, renewals, and ongoing customer support.
11. Preparing and managing proposals, quotes, and negotiations.
12. Ensuring customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and proactive issue resolution.
13. Working with existing Area Sales Managers to develop opportunities in Service.
Qualification + Profile for a Service Sales Consultant:
1. Proven track record of consultative selling.
2. 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in services or solutions within industrial automation or process industries.
3. Strong understanding of process automation and related service applications.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
5. Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
6. Willingness to travel regionally to meet with customers.
