Join a leading Fire and Health & Safety consultancy as a Fire Risk Assessor, working as part of a growing team of eight.
This role offers the successful Fire Risk Assessor the opportunity to work across a diverse range of sectors, including new build and existing residential properties, complex high-rise developments, student accommodation, and commercial buildings.
The Fire Risk Assessor's Role
Carry out planned and reactive Fire Risk Assessments across various medium-risk environments, using appropriate evaluation methods to assess fire hazards.
Prepare and present detailed Fire Risk Assessment reports, ensuring they meet legal requirements and provide clear recommendations.
Deliver expert fire safety advice to clients, maintaining a strong knowledge of UK Fire Safety Legislation, associated guidance, and standards.
Liaise with contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders, offering bespoke fire safety support when required.
The Successful Fire Risk Assessor Will Have
Full UK driving licence, with access to a vehicle (company-provided option available).
Willingness to travel extensively, with overnight stays as required.
Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and technical standards.
Nationally recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualifications (minimum certificate level).
Self-motivated and confident in managing client interactions and workload independently.
