We are looking to hire a Facilities Supervisor to maintain, repair, service and upkeep our company headquarters near DFW airport. This position will report to the VP of Operations. Maintenance tickets are submitted by employees, and the Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for receiving all new tickets, performing repairs and maintenance requests from tickets, and closing out tickets upon completion. Our building is climate controlled, and standard office hours are 8:00 am-5:00 pm; Monday - Friday. In addition, this position will work with the VP of Operations on the general upkeep for the property, and routine maintenance and repairs of the rooftop HVAC units, as well as other general maintenance duties needed. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performing repairs and maintenance in warehouse/plant, office facilities and ,equipment.
2. Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
3. Configuring energy management control systems within our current facilities, maintenance of air compressors, and lawn sprinkler systems around all our buildings.
4. Using hand and power tools testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment. Must be able to understand and use blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, and drawings.
5. Typically performs work in the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, drywall, painting, machine and equipment repair, and electrical.
6. Assembling modular furniture, minor construction and repairs to the interior and exterior of the facilities.
7. This position could also spend up to 50% of their time on the production floor assisting with assembling conveyors.
