Purpose of the role:
As an Operations Manager, you'll manage the wholesale, retail and franchise operations following the order entry process from the Sales Team. The post-holder will manage a team of Operations Administrators and/or Operations Coordinators to ensure exceptional customer service delivery, and is responsible for ensuring account management on a business to business level with a focus on managing the customer experience within a key account model. You'll also oversee the critical path to ensure the delivery of goods on time in collaboration with other internal departments including Logistics and Credit Control.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Seasonal order book management.
* Managing customer credit with internal departments.
* Monitoring and reporting the performance KPIs of the Operations Administrators and/or Coordinators to ensure customer service requirements are upheld.
* People management of a small team of Operations Administrators or Coordinators, ensuring clear objectives, KPIs and development goals are set and achieved.
* Key Account Manager for major clients and overall accountability for managing the relationship between businesses and clients after the point of order entry.
* Key relationship holder with distribution clients and brands from an Operations perspective, liaising alongside sales to communicate any potential challenges or delays with order processing.
* Cost management regarding the approval of the shipments of goods, ensuring all are processed in a timely manner with high accuracy.
* Processing and managing debit /claims with suppliers and freight forwarding.
* Liaising with foreign Agents and Distributors to ensure the timely arrival of goods.
* Managing the process of re-orders and stock-orders.
* Liaison with the Sales department to ensure clear client channel of communication.
What you'll need:
* Proven experience in a similar role in Fashion/Wholesale retail.
* People management experience.
* Ability to deliver accurate work, consistently.
* Understanding of a Key Account and B2B working environment
* Microsoft Dynamics and Excel proficiency
* Ablity to communicate effectively with all levels of the business
* Ability to manage multiple projects simaltaneously
