We currently have a vacancy for a full time Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our busy Blyth office. We are seeking an enthusiastic law graduate with previous experience in conveyancing administration or in a similar role. In addition, experience in Commercial Conveyancing and Private Client work would be preferable. The role would involve providing support to a Director who is the Head of Conveyancing in the Conveyancing Team, but who also undertakes Commercial Property and Private Client work. An ideal candidate would be a good communicator with an ability to work on their own initiative and a desire to learn and develop.
You may be required to attend both our Blyth and Morpeth offices as and when required and as such a clean driving license would be helpful but not vital.
Training will be provided where appropriate.

1. Arranging appointments/managing diaries
2. Carrying out Land Registry Searches
3. Carrying out Registrations
4. Dealing with calls and enquiries
5. Dealing with dictation
6. Drafting Contracts
7. Matching post with files
8. Obtaining Office Copies
9. Opening files
10. Producing invoices and completion statements
11. Providing quotes
12. Updating clients and Estate Agents
13. Drafting Powers of Attorney
14. Drafting Wills
15. Drafting applications for Grant of Probate
