We are currently recruiting individuals for an initial assignment in the northwest of England where we are undertaking FEED services. Experience in nuclear sectors can be helpful, but we are equally interested in the ability of candidates to apply broader experiences in a new environment.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Requirements Engineer who has experience of delivering the production and implementation of Requirements Management Plans. You should possess good stakeholder communication skills and be able to support the management of complex technical and practical issues. You will be expected to demonstrate experience of supporting a collaborative working environment through positive and transparent behaviours.
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.
Major Responsibilities:
* Setting up effective requirements management processes on complex multi-disciplinary projects
* Managing a requirements register and implementing a requirements management tool
* Managing the process of establishing, maintaining and validating requirements through delivery
* Supporting the production of verification and validation reports
* Interface with the client organisation and associated stakeholders to confirm systems requirements
* Managing project commitments in accordance with the constraints and terms of the contract
* A responsible attitude towards safety and security
* Ability to motivate self and teams, deal with conflict and enhance a collaborative delivery culture
Education and Experience Requirements:
Degree qualified in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems or equivalent). Nuclear or Energy sector experience would be of particular interest including design, construction and commissioning.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
In addition to good communication and organisation skills, the role will involve supporting the Engineering Assurance Manager in the management of the services.
