Our client is a leader in the construction and agrregate industry, with a stong presence across the UK. They are currently recruiting for an Industrial Electrician at their site in Knottingley for a days position.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Carry out reactive repairs on plant machinery
* Conduct routine PPMs on plant machinery
* Electrical works on mobile and fixed screens, crushers, pumps, motors, electrical control panels etc
* Diagnosing faults and resolving issues on PLCs, inverters, motors, and drives
* Working alongside the mechanical team for fault finding on equipment
* Maintaining Health and safety standards across the site
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Be an experienced electrician with experience in industrial environments
* Be apprenticeship qualified in electrical engineering (City and Guilds or ONC)
* Ideally hold an 18th edition in wiring regulations
* Knowledge of the Electricity at Work Act
* Experience in a heavy plant, mining, quarry, aggregates environment
