Position: Mechanical Sales Engineer
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Hybrid work: 2-3 days a week in the office
Salary: up to approx. £45,000 per annum (please give us your salary expectations)

Main Duties:
1. Respond to inbound customer inquiries, proactively develop new leads, maintain the CRM system, collaborate with sales teams, and present the company’s products and capabilities across various communication platforms.
The Role:
1. Respond to customer inquiries, ensuring high-quality service and maximizing sales opportunities.
2. Research and develop leads within the European market, identifying decision-makers and building relationships.
3. Manage the sales pipeline in the CRM, from lead generation to closing.
4. Work with the internal sales team to follow up on and convert qualified leads into sales.
5. Present and demonstrate products via phone, email, webinars, and in-person meetings.
6. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to improve lead generation and conversion.
7. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to support customer needs and identify new sales opportunities.
The Candidate:
1. Degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
2. Strong sales experience, ideally in a technical field.
3. German language skills are a plus.
4. Highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lead-generation-focused environment.
6. Resilient, with the ability to handle rejection and stay focused.
