Job Summary We currently have an exciting opportunity for an EHS Officer to join our team in Haverhill. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to Flavours Operations. Managing the daily permits, and supporting the compliance and operations on EHS. Main Responsibilities Safety and Compliance Preparation and completion of Permits to Work for Maintenance tasks across site. Assist site operations in implementation of safe isolation procedures. Assist with internal and external audits including checking of live Permits to Work Perform site internal safety audits and follow-up closure. Conduct EHS trainings Conduct rack inspections / powered industrial trucks inspections / ventilation system checks Coordinating site Mechanical Safety to ensure compliance with regulations. Assist the EHS Compliance Manager with the creation and development of management systems for Environment, Health and Safety to enhance EH&S performance across the site Ensuring compliance and record keeping linked to all relevant regulations Participate and provide expert advice in sites HAZID/HAZOP activities. Perform the role of a fire Safety Team Lead for the site Required Skills Ability to communicate effectively between departments / business units and external associations with varying priorities Ability and expertise to operate effectively within regulatory systems / documentation systems and office systems. Strong knowledge of Safety and & Environmental activities and legislation. Strong IT Skills Required Experience: Previous experience within a manufacturing or chemical environment. Prior safety/environmental experience Supervisory Level of Safety Qualification / working towards recognised safety qualification. Ability to proactively suggest practical solutions, and have the ability to spot issues, raise concerns and implement solutions regarding process or procedures. Auditing experience. Desirable Skills/Experience Fully conversant with EH&S regulations ideally on COMAH Top Tier site.
