About Our Client
You will be working for a well known NHS trust based in South West London.
Job Description
The key duties of the role are as followed:
3. Prepare monthly financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries.
4. Complete VAT returns and year-end statutory accounts.
5. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
6. Maintain the financial ledger and account reconciliations.
7. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
8. Support the month-end and year-end close process.
9. Manage financial audit processes.
10. Participate in continuous improvement of the accounting process.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
11. Previous NHS experience
12. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
13. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
14. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
15. Strong numerical skills.
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
