Position Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the marketing team of a new British Rum brand called V, a brand of V Spirits Company Limited. We are working to build a dominant UK and then a global brand, not a local, small batch distiller and we are looking for a marketing leader to manage a growing team. You will ultimately be responsible for the promotion of the brand and the management of our marketing efforts, leading a growing team working to make the world aware of what we are doing, promote V and distribute the incredible content we are creating.
Job Description
1. Experience in the leadership and management of a consumer-focused brand.
2. Leadership role, sitting on the management team of a growing business.
3. Strategic thinker – constantly thinking about opportunities to capture exposure and generate opportunity for the brand and get the biggest “bang for our buck”.
4. Responsibility for both marketing activity and PR.
5. Effective leader, managing a team that includes in-house resource across the management of general marketing activity, videography, graphic design, web, digital and PR.
6. Leadership expertise across social, digital and traditional marketing as well as events.
7. Supporting multiple routes to market including off-trade, on-trade and direct to consumer.
8. Ultimate ownership of our marketing plan, co-ordinating the strategy and ensuring your team deliver on what’s needed to make it happen.
9. Able to implement effective ROI and brand value measurement.
10. Confident and able to capture requirements and vision for the brand and translate that into an effective strategy supported by a talented team.
11. A well-structured individual that is able to plan and manage their time effectively and represent their marketing function within leadership team meetings.
12. Focus on enhancing the ability of your team by providing coaching and guidance based on your experience.

4. Confident in content management and application of SEO across multiple websites.

8. Ability to understand new products and markets quickly and develop innovative strategies.
9. Possess a full driving license and be prepared to travel as part of the role as required.
10. Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to £80,000.00 per year
