We are currently recruiting for a Sales Coordinator to join a well-established and growing business based in Cramlington.
Responsibilities:
* Work with the team to create a database for all client contacts, information, and updates on recent contact and activity, potential upcoming work, and dates for future release of work.
* Collate and maintain a forward calendar of contact and meetings, ensuring all client contact is recorded.
* Manage order processing and receive and process purchase orders via email or phone, verifying order details for accuracy, and uploading into Simpro.
* Serve as a point of contact for customers by answering new enquiries, providing sales support, and ensuring excellent communication.
* Update and maintain sales and customer records on HubSpot, compile monthly sales reports for board meetings and internal meetings, and ensure data accuracy.
* Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, preparing proposals, quotes, and conducting direct sales calls.
* Manage and update customer information to ensure accurate database records on HubSpot.
* Work with the team to identify seminars, exhibitions, and events to attend, as well as publications, industry literature, websites, and organisations relevant to our industry.
* Ensure that any events are planned and implemented thoroughly.
* Carry out market analysis through data gathering and interpretation to understand competitors and identify and target potential clients.
* Proofread all content to ensure responses are in line with the agreed tender strategy, checking for spelling mistakes, etc.
* Be aware of commercially sensitive information and manage all data shared as part of the preparation process.
Experience:
* Experience working within a similar role.
* Good IT knowledge - able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
* Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign).
* Experience in preparing Bid and Tender documentation and managing the end-to-end preparation process.
