Your New Role
Within this role, you will be tasked with the following non-exhaustive duties:
1. Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable Ledgers, including posting, raising, and matching invoices and payments.
2. Reconcile customer and supplier statements, including proforma and scrap invoices.
3. Reconcile and agree on intercompany balances.
4. Report weekly and monthly aged analysis of Debtors and Creditors to the Site FD & GM and Group FD & CFO.
5. Investigate and resolve queries with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Conduct quarterly cut-off testing.
7. Reconcile bank accounts and cash books, and assist with cash forecasting.
8. Assist in preparing weekly and monthly management accounts, including P&L reporting, nominal ledger transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
9. Support capital expenditure and fixed assets management, ensuring project spends are within budget, reporting on capex, and updating the fixed asset system.
10. Perform ad-hoc tasks, including budgeting and forecasting, training for holiday/sickness cover, addressing audit queries, and conducting spend analysis.
What You Will Need
To succeed in your application, you will need to display:
1. Management of financial ledgers and monthly management reporting
2. Experience of working within a finance team
3. AAT / Part qualified / QBE (qualified for the role due to level of experience)
4. Manufacturing experience preferable but not essential
5. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
6. Computer literate, including Microsoft Office
7. Excellent Excel skills
8. Attention to detail and organisational skills
9. Ability to prioritise workload
10. Internal and External stakeholder relationship building
11. Continuous Improvement Mindset
12. Ability to work well within a team environment
13. Be able to take initiative
What You Will Be Offered
1. Salary of up to £33,000 dependent on experience
2. 8am - 4:30pm work hours Monday to Thursday, with 1pm finish on Friday
3. Flexible start-finish times
4. 25 days annual leave plus BH
5. 6% employer pension contribution
