We have partnered with a leading international consumer goods organisation in their search for a Head of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). In this role you will be primarily responsible for demand planning, forecasting management (18-month rolling) and the Monthly Business Review (MBR) for the UK region, working collaboratively across functions and leading a small Demand Planning team. In bringing your proven track record in disciplined / best in class demand planning, you’ll ultimately deliver an optimised S&OP function for the future.
Reporting directly into the UK Managing Director, this will be a highly visible and challenging role in a fast-paced, high growth environment. You’ll work with and need to influence senior stakeholders across an internationally growing and acquisitive business, so there will be significant career prospects going forward.
Who we’re looking for:
* Successful applicants will have a proven track record leading Demand Planning / S&OP activities in an FMCG business
* You will have demonstrated experience of driving a culture of continuous improvement to optimise service to the end customer, whilst driving efficiencies and cost savings
* An ability to demonstrate strong leadership of both direct and indirect teams at various levels will be essential to provide effective departmental leadership as well as to influence and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and successfully manage the S&OP process
