ARC Administrator / Receptionist based in the Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre (ARC) St Marks Hospital Maidenhead Full Time - 37.5 hours/week Monday – Friday ( re asonable flexible working may be considered). The Administration and Clerical team are the first point of contact for patients accessing our services and are valued staff members that are fundamental in supporting the clinical staff. If you enjoy working with patients, have a great professional yet friendly manner with patients to make them feel welcome to our service, and are efficient in prioritising your own workload then this may well be the role for you. You will be responsible for greeting patients in person, taking telephone calls and booking in appointments for our patients. The post will be based at St Marks Hospital, Maidenhead though some cross site working may be required. There is free parking on all sites. To meet and greet the patients and visitors as they arrive to the clinic, ensuring they feel welcomed, providing assistance and information when required. This includes allaying fears and anxieties that patients may have and organising on-going appointments. To ensure reception remains tidy, organised and presentable at all times. Manage bookings and adjust appointments as required. This will include telephone calls and sending out letters. Use of IT systems to manage bookings and ensure effective communication between internal and external staff members To be responsible for dealing with patients always maintain ing a helpful and professional approach. E nsuring confidential correspondence, reports and other documentation is of a high standard. To be based at the ARC St Marks Hospital Maidenhead, but the post-holder will need to support across all 3 of our sites ( St Marks Hospital Maidenhead, Upton Hospital Slough, and Bracknell ) when cover for annual leave, sickness, and other service requirements may be needed.
