As a Clinical Lead Nurse, we ask for you to care for our residents like they are your own family, addressing their Physical, Psychological, and Social needs.
You must have your registered NMC Pin & Right to Work in the UK
This role requires 3 days per week working 12-hour shifts.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
* Residents Care Plans
* Managing the nurses
* Medication rounds and associated documentation in line with NMC guidelines and Company policy
* Assess all aspects of residents' care needs and provide health supervision and direct nursing care when required
* Report any ill health amongst residents and make GP/professional visit requests where necessary
* Ensure that Residents' Care Plans are accurate and updated in conjunction with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals, in accordance with NMC guidelines & Company policy
* Carry out regular checks on residents and complete associated paperwork
* Report to the Home Manager as required
* Understand and ensure the implementation of Company policies
* Promote safe working practices within the Care Centre and maintain accurate documentation
Other Duties:
* Attend Staff Meetings
* Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs and demands of the home; participate in appropriate training; support staff development and training
* Ensure understanding of safeguarding responsibilities; develop skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect; ensure safeguarding and whistleblowing policies are adhered to at all times
* Provide evidence of completed training
* Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation
* Complete all training as determined by the home
