Looking for a role where you can see the impact of your work—supporting people to break the cycle and build a better future?
We’re hiring a Rehabilitation Support Worker to join a respected charity working across Essex prisons and probation sites. This is a floating position, covering for team members on leave or absence—so you'll step in to support clients already on caseloads, keeping their progress on track.
You’ll provide 1:1 support focused on resettlement—helping people access housing, prepare for work, and take positive steps forward. You’ll also help them build motivation and confidence, and stay on top of agreed action plans.
What we’re looking for:
Experience working in the justice system or with vulnerable clients (homelessness, addiction, mental health)
Or, a criminology graduate with relevant voluntary experience
Flexibility and confidence to work across different sites in EssexThis would suit someone who’s worked as a resettlement worker, probation officer, housing support worker, or in employability—or someone passionate about second chances and rehabilitation.
What’s on offer:
25 days annual leave (plus extra with service)
2 paid volunteering days
Enhanced pension & life cover
