Elevation Recruitment Group's Procurement & Supply Chain division is exclusively partnering with a well-established global distribution business based in Wakefield to recruit an experienced Inventory Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.
This role focuses on leading the stock control team to maintain efficient systems and processes that support organisational objectives. It also involves developing the team and fostering cross-department collaboration to contribute to overall business success.
Key Responsibilities of the Inventory Manager:
* Oversee stock control operations to maximise efficiency and profitability
* Develop and implement effective stock control systems, optimising processes and resources
* Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing stock control team
* Monitor budgets and expenses, ensuring financial targets are achieved
* Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and organisational policies
* Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives
* Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management
