We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.
As part of the University, we uphold a strong reputation and high standards. About the role
The Business Systems team is a dynamic and collaborative group focused on evolving systems to enhance operations and drive impactful results globally. Our goal is to transform academic systems into strategic assets that empower teams and ensure operational excellence.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Owner to collaborate with cross-functional teams in enhancing and developing our business systems. You will lead system improvements, define roadmaps, and influence strategy to ensure the long-term success of our learning and assessment systems.
You will work within a cross-functional team, utilising user-centred, agile approaches to system development. With a strong technical background, analytical mindset, and commercial acumen, you will deliver solutions that align with both business strategy and customer needs, across both business-as-usual and project initiatives. Your leadership and communication skills will enable you to influence stakeholders and guide teams through all stages of development.
This role acts as a bridge between technology and business, driving system improvements, ensuring data integrity, and promoting user adoption, all while contributing to streamlined operations and long-term digital transformation.
About you

You may hold a relevant qualification or have experience in a strategic, technical, or transformation-focused role. You understand what makes a system effective and stay current with industry best practices, ensuring systems evolve to meet the organization's needs.
Confident in system management (including Salesforce), process optimization, and governance, you also have expertise in Agile/Waterfall methodologies, data integrity, and stakeholder collaboration. You are ready to drive impactful improvements and thrive at bridging the gap between technology and business, streamlining operations, and enabling long-term digital transformation.
