Exciting opportunity on offer for an experienced Test & Calibration Engineer to join a leading UK company, with a great reputation in the industry for the bespoke solutions they offer to their loyal client base.
This fantastic company specialise in the calibration & repair of test equipment. Due to a very full order book, they are now looking to add an experienced Test & Calibration Engineer to their passionate & hardworking team.
In this role you will be workshop based & will be responsible for the calibration, repair, and maintenance of a variety of test and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. The role is based in Southport and offers an opportunity to work in a highly specialized environment with a focus on precision and quality.

The role:
* Perform calibration and repair of test equipment in line with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
* Maintain detailed records of calibration and repair work, ensuring traceability and compliance.
* Liaise with customers to provide updates on equipment status and discuss technical requirements.
* Conduct quality checks to ensure all equipment meets the necessary specifications.
* Support the development and improvement of calibration processes and procedures.
The person:
* Proven experience in the calibration of test equipment
* Strong technical knowledge of test and measurement equipment across various types.
* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
* Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
