We currently have a vacancy for an Assistant Service Manager working in Milton, Cambridge.
Reporting to the Service Manager and working closely with family members, the successful candidate will demonstrate the values of The Edmund Trust and be adaptable and friendly with a passion for supporting people with a learning disability.
This position works in two services providing support to twelve individuals of varying ages and support needs. The support is person centred according to the individuals specific support needs. This is delivered via 1:1 planned activities and shared support ensuring we meet their needs to enable them to live fulfilling lives.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you are:
Experienced at supporting people who have learning and physical disabilities and have experience of Autism

Experienced at mentoring and supporting staff and leading a team positively

Able to think outside the box
Able to undertake administration tasks in a timely and organised manner
Confident in following support agreements, plans and policies at all times
Able to work as a team but also confident at lone working
Able to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
Are a driver with your own car
You will need to be passionate and motivated about getting the support right and be able to coach and mentor staff with confidence.
The role is full time (35 hours per week), will involve some weekend work and sleep ins, and has a starting salary of £30,919 p er annum.
As part of this role, you will be included on an out of hours on call rota covering all services across The Edmund Trust as Tier 1 support. This rota is shared across all managers and is typically an average of 1 week in every 3 months.
