Job Description
Deliver the Housing Options service, exploring options and choices to address an individual's housing need. This features early intervention activities and includes advice on all tenure options with a focus on homelessness prevention and including homelessness assistance where required.
Responsible for the management of the Council's direct provision of temporary accommodation and liaison with other providers or temporary accommodation for homeless persons. Responsible for making and maintaining contact with those housed in temporary accommodation to give appropriate advice and guidance and provide a housing management service to this client base. This should run on after and including homelessness assistance where required.
This role may require flexible, evening and weekend working, and home visits.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
