At The Turmeric Co., we’re looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead our QA team and ensure our award-winning functional health drinks are always safe, legal, and of the highest quality. You’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining standards, driving audit readiness, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The responsibilities.
1. Ensure production meets food safety and quality standards based on HACCP principles.
2. Review and update technical SOPs to ensure regulatory compliance.
3. Provide hands-on support in the factory to uphold operational standards.
4. Act as a key member of the HACCP team, ensuring site-wide implementation.
5. Manage communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
6. Foster a culture of quality through team coaching and development.
7. Oversee factory trials for new products and processes, ensuring lab testing is completed.
8. Manage pest control, non-conformance logs, and corrective actions.
9. Conduct and support internal audits and customer visits.
10. Apply CI tools and root cause analysis to solve quality and safety issues.
11. Coordinate lab testing schedules and ensure timely validation reporting.
12. Maintain audit readiness and manage calibration schedules.
13. Support production meetings and EOS technical discussions.
14. Deputise for other management roles, including the Technical Manager, as needed.
15. Encourage cross-functional collaboration to optimise site-wide processes.
16. Ensure alignment with HR, safety, and environmental compliance policies.
The skillset.
1. Degree in Food Science or a related technical field.
2. Proven QA/technical experience in food manufacturing.
3. Strong leadership and coaching skills.
4. Confident in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Unleashed, Mintsoft).
5. Meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach.
