About the job: As a Senior Education Advisor you will provide expert guidance on education workforce policy matters, drawing on extensive experience and knowledge in the field. Your profile You will play an important role in supporting shaping workforce development policy and informing charity activity including our CPD design and delivery, impact and evaluation, member and volunteer engagement, informing and disseminating our standards. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around formulating, implementing and evaluating policies that align with the charity’s mission and vision. This position requires a combination of policy acumen and educational experience, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. The successful candidate will have: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (education policy, public policy, social sciences) or equivalent. Proven experience in policy development, preferably within the further education sector or related field. Strong understanding of skills development, vocational training and workforce requirements and designing and developing programmes to meet the workforce needs across further education settings. Excellent research, analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesise complex information, design solutions to policy challenges and make data-informed improvements.
