Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the NE Essex system focusing on mental health and wellbeing service improvement programmes. This is an integrated post working collaboratively with EPUT, the ICB and wider system partners. The post holder will work alongside the leadership team and front line staff to make an impact on mental health improvement and health inequalities in NE Essex. The post holder will need to be an excellent communicator with project management experience.
Main Duties of the Job
* Lead transformation programmes reporting to the care group and SNEE ICB governance structures.
* Ensure processes are in place to meet quality standard indicators across the system.
* Engage with frontline services and patient ambassadors to identify opportunities for service transformation.
* Translate local and national transformation programmes into local improvements.
* Develop transformation service plans consistent with the strategic aims of the Trust and SNEE ICB.
* Produce business cases and develop services considering activity, income projections, and service models.
* Assess the impact of service re-design programmes.
* Act as a service improvement driver and provoke positive change.
* Monitor projects ensuring robust project management discipline.
* Support management teams to ensure programme objectives are delivered.
* Support contract negotiations ensuring programme objectives align with contractual agreements.
* Develop communication mediums to keep stakeholders informed of local programme issues.
* Work with performance and information analysts to capture critical indicators.
* Escalate risks and issues to the management team.
* Provide local intelligence throughout the design and implementation of the transformation strategy.
* Support the implementation of service transformation and evaluate the impact on service delivery.
* Collaborate with service managers in initiating service improvement action plans.
* Provide change and project management support as needed.
* Analyse project information to provide a programme view of milestones and deliverables.
* Make recommendations for overcoming or minimizing risks.
Person Specification
Education, Qualifications & Training
* Degree level or equivalent experience demonstrating post-specific knowledge.
* PRINCE2 or MSP Practitioner.
Experience
* Recent experience in a comparable role.
* Experience in a customer-focused environment.
* Experience managing projects in complex environments.
* Experience leading digital or technical project implementations (desirable).
Skills, Abilities & Knowledge
* Knowledge of administrative procedures.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
* Ability to prioritize effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to analyze situations and provide resolutions.
