About the role
Zoocha is seeking a Business Development Associate to support the Lead Business Development Manager in capturing, tracking and monitoring new business activity. This will also include helping to establish and grow new marketing pipelines and initiatives.
Why we are hiring
We are growing our business development department to encompass wider marketing and outbound lead activity. This role will support this new direction and grow alongside this initiative.
Your remit
We’re looking for a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills. This individual must be able to manage a fluctuating workload and be able to adapt to shifting priorities. The ability to capture, manage and produce data insights will also be advantageous.
Your Responsibilities:
* Monitoring procurement portals and frameworks for new opportunities
* Adding new opportunities to the Zoocha New Business board and qualifying leads
* First response to inbound enquiries present Zoocha as responsive and professional
* Obtaining and reviewing procurement documents for each opportunity from procurement portals or directly from client
* Managing the opportunity Jira tickets to ensure we are meeting all the deadlines for each opportunity
* Collate and submit clarification questions and organise the response
* Proactively managing the new business confluence space
* Generating monthly and quarterly performance insights
* Assisting in early response creation activity
* Generating new business assets and ‘best in class’ response templates
* ‘Content guardian’ for the Zoocha media presence
* Assisting in marketing outreach activities and identifying target accounts
Nice-to-have experience:

- Jira/Confluence
- Stotles
- SalesNavigator
- Lead Feeder
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with confidence to communicate at senior manager and director level within large organisations.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
* Ability to elicit and analyse information from a variety of sources, presenting it to the relevant audience in an appropriate and understandable form.
Expectations
This is a part-time (30 hours per week) hybrid role, with the expectation that you’ll be in our Hertford office for a few days each week.
Mandatory requirements:
* Based in the UK, ideally within regular commuting distance of our Hertford office
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
