The post holder will be responsible for Aircraft Mechanical Production and Supervision within the Base including aircraft scheduled and reactive maintenance.
They are responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are undertaken in accordance with all the requirements of the regulatory approval and the issued Statement of Work/Condition of Supply to assure the output of airworthy aircraft.
They will report to the Base Maintenance Manager and manage the programme at a tactical level ensuring that issues adversely affecting lead times are anticipated and reported.
The role will involve supervision of a team of mechanical supervisors & technicians and the candidate will be able to evaluate and prioritise tasks to ensure production schedules are achieved.

• Performance indicators – Ensure the effective management of Part 145 activities by setting delivery targets, monitoring progress and developing performance improvement programmes. Prioritises activities within/across teams to maximise efficiency. Represents the Maintenance Manager at management reviews, where necessary. Responsible for the assessment of escalated issues for any impact on Continuing Airworthiness and generating effective resolution, or sponsoring escalation to management, as appropriate.
